Study of behavior of thermal insulation materials on natural base
Kostlánová, Jana ; Balíková, Jitka (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is focused on a research of behavior of thermal and acoustic insulating materials on natural base with major importance on fibrous insulating materials. Vital part of the thesis is aimed on monitoring of environmental aspects interrelated with retrieving of raw materials and insulating materials manufacturing. Other types of fibrous insulating materials employed in a civil engineering are presented in the text. The main objective of the thesis is an evaluation of an influence of input fibers quality to the final attributes of insulating materials. The fundamental element of material quality evaluation represents physical and mechanical attributes of examined subjects.
Possibility of utilization of textile waste for modern insulation materials production
Břicháček, Pavel ; Kout, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
Old clothes are hardly recyclable waste that ends mostly in incinerators or landfills for municipal waste. The present thesis aims to evaluate the possibility of using this waste in the building industry, specifically for the production of thermal and acoustic insulation materials. The scope of work is to map the raw material base in the Czech Republic, examining the appropriateness of using various kinds of textile fibers and determination of optimal technologies for recycling and bonding. On the product, made on the basis of theoretical findings are set out basic thermal insulation and acoustic properties.
The block of flats
Kolář, Jan ; Hobzová, Klára (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my barchelor thesis is the design and the elaboration of project documentation of the construction of the apartment building. Projected building is located in restful part of city Přerov with viewpoint to surrounding rural area and the place of Saint Hostýn pilgrimage. Detached building with semi-flush basement and three overground floors offers a capacity of 6 flat units for the settlement for 21 persons. Modular flats are situated lengtwise with disposition of 3 rooms + cooking place and 4 rooms + cooking place into two parts of groundplan with different proportions, that have connected by cental corridor with lift and technical utility room. Architectural rendering takes into accout the requests of comfort living and utility space, that every housing unit have larger social zone, with own terrace, storage room and cellar. Parking places for 9 cars are reserved on the plot with possibility of covered parking at the individual garage in basement. There are also meeting room, bike shed and laundry room. Material of bulding is formed of prefabricated system of wall masonry from brick shard fittings with standardized dimensions. External surface of the builng is provided by contact system of heat insulation consistent to the ETICS requests. Ceiling tiles of reinforced concrete are constructed monolithically. There is used prestressed reinforced concrete for better possibilities of use the basements individual garage. The building use technical equipment and technologies for using of renewable resources and is projected like building with almost zero energy consumption.
Study of hygrothermal behavior of building materials based on natural and polymer fibers
Přikrylová, Pavlína ; Peterková, Jitka (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this work is the study of thermal performance of building materials based on natural and synthetic fibers. The main task is to map the properties of fibrous insulation materials made thermal bonding. The monitored elements are thermally insulating, acoustic and mechanical properties of the insulation boards. The evaluation will be carried out on specimens of different fiber composition.
Development of thermal insulating materials based on waste textile fibers
Přikrylová, Pavlína ; Peterková, Jitka (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The increasing quantity of waste represents serious environmental, social and economic problem. Wastes produced from industry and households. A large part of the economy transforms a certain amount of raw materials to waste in their production, because it is currently emphasis is placed on finding sustainable sources of raw materials. One of the suitable secondary raw materials can be discarded textiles or waste from the textile industry. These kinds of textile waste often ends up in landfills or incinerators, so it is from an ecological and environmentally advantageous to their further use. The diploma thesis deals with the study and development of thermal and acoustic insulation materials based on textile fibers. It focuses on the legislative requirements for waste management for the sorting of textile wastes and their subsequent modification before reuse. Further it contains kinds of textile fibers and bonding technologies thermal and acoustic insulation materials. Finally, an evaluation of thermal insulation, acoustic and mechanical properties of fibrous insulation materials.
History and acoustics of traditional timber joist floor structures
Kalousek, Lubor ; Fišarová, Zuzana
The article is focused on the issue of traditional timber joist floor structures, especially from the end of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century. In common building practice, we very often encounter these structures in residential buildings that are, or were in the past, the subject of structural changes. Unfortunately, during these interventions, the basic ideas of the original technical solution are not always respected and some physical parameters of building are degraded, of which the requirements of building acoustics will be discussed in particular. However, the problem includes not only the actual composition of timber joist floor structure, but also the floor, which forms an integral whole in interaction with it. The article will describe the principles that were devoted to these types of structures in historical legislative and standard regulations and further in professional literature. The original historical solution will be presented on a practical example. In relation to building interventions in historic timber joist floor structures, current legislative and standard regulations will be described, as well as examples of modern solutions and their limitations.
